Who this policy covers

Hostinger hosts this website in North America (USA, MA), with website backups in USA (Boston). These confirmed locations concern website hosting and website backups; they do not establish the location of email processing or every service provider. Logs and backups follow the provider’s configured retention and the purposes for which they are needed.

This policy applies to Birthday Sharely at birthdaysharely.com and its own greeting tools. Birthday Sharely is the publishing name used by the website operator. For questions about this policy or a privacy request, contact contact@birthdaysharely.com.

This policy covers Birthday Sharely. Email providers, messaging applications and websites you choose to visit have their own privacy notices.

What the current website does

The Google AdSense integration is configured as explained below.

Search and copying run in your browser. We do not ask for payment-card details. If you paste copied text into another app or email us, that service applies its own privacy notice.

Search text and visible birthday wishes

A search query is used in the current page to filter the visible wish list. The application does not deliberately save that query to a message database, localStorage or sessionStorage.

Closing or reloading the page normally removes this working state, although your browser may restore a tab or form field. Do not enter confidential information on a shared device. We cannot control browser history, autofill, backups or clipboard synchronization.

Copying a birthday wish

The Copy button places only the chosen wish on your device clipboard when you activate it. Other apps and clipboard synchronization may access that text according to your browser and device settings.

The current website does not open a native share sheet or a WhatsApp sharing link. After copying, you may choose to paste, edit or send the text elsewhere yourself; the selected app or website then applies its own privacy notice.

If clipboard access is denied or unavailable, you can select the visible wish text manually. Birthday Sharely cannot control or remove information you subsequently place in another app.

Technical browsing and security information

When a page or image is requested, hosting and network infrastructure may receive the IP address, timestamp, requested URL, browser or device information, referrer and error or security events. This information can be used to serve content, diagnose faults, prevent abuse and maintain security.

Exact logging and retention depend on the hosting or security provider and its settings. Personal birthday messages should not be entered into URLs or sent as support attachments unless necessary.

Emails, corrections and support records

When you email us, we receive the sender address, message, ordinary email headers and any attachments you provide. We use that information to answer enquiries, investigate corrections, handle rights requests, resolve disputes and keep necessary records. Please minimize information about other people.

Support enquiries are not added to a marketing mailing list. Correspondence is kept as needed to answer the request, handle related questions, resolve complaints and meet applicable legal obligations.

Cookies and browser storage

The greeting tools do not save search queries or personal messages to localStorage or sessionStorage. The production site includes Google’s AdSense script; the advertising data involved and your choices are explained below. Analytics remains disabled. Browser caching of images, scripts and styles is separate from saved message storage.

Birthday Sharely loads Google AdSense throughout this website. Google and its advertising partners may process IP addresses, device information, cookies and similar identifiers for advertising, measurement, security and fraud prevention. Advertising availability and any Google consent messages depend on Google’s account settings, visitor region and choices. Birthday Sharely does not provide a separate custom consent banner. Purposes and legal grounds where applicable

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, responding to a requested service may involve pre-contractual steps or contract performance; proportionate security, troubleshooting and correspondence may involve legitimate interests; legally required records involve legal obligations. Website and email services are provided by Hostinger; advertising is provided through Google AdSense and its advertising partners. Birthday Sharely is a general-audience greeting resource, not a service designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can assess and address it.
